• Beyond The Leash typically boards one dog at a time, which allows for focused attention and a calm environment. However, overlapping stays may be considered with prior discussion and explicit consent from all owners, and only if both dogs are a good fit.

  • Yes! If you have more than one dog, the rate is $75 for the first dog and $50 per additional dog, per night. All dogs must be from the same household and will be discussed during the booking process to ensure it's a good fit.

  • No -- dogs stay in a real home environment, not a commercial facility. This setup works especially well for dogs who prefer quiet, routine, and personal attention.

  • Dogs may be left alone briefly for errands or daily activities, but they are not left alone for long periods. Care and supervision are structured around a home routine rather than a shift-based facility.

  • Yes, depending on the dog. I’m happy to discuss anxiety, medications, or special routines to determine whether this is a good fit.

  • For new clients, meet & greets are typically required for stays of three nights or longer, or when a dog has specific care needs. For shorter stays, bookings may be accepted without a meet & greet based on the information provided.

  • Please bring your dog’s food, any medications with instructions, and a leash or harness. Favorite toys or bedding are welcome but optional -- many dogs settle in just fine without them. Treats are appreciated!

  • Beyond The Leash is located in Austin’s Crestview/Highland area (78752). The exact address is shared after booking.

  • Yes -- you’ll receive photos and text updates during your dog’s stay if you’d like.

  • Cancellations made with at least 24 hours' notice will receive a full refund. If your stay is shortened or pick-up occurs early, you'll receive a refund for any unused nights.

  • Your dog’s safety and well-being always come first. If any concerns arise, I’ll reach out right away and work with you to determine the best next steps.

In the event of a medical emergency, I’m authorized to seek veterinary care and will make every effort to bring your dog to the primary vet or urgent care you’ve provided. If none is listed or they’re unavailable, I’ll take your dog to a nearby emergency veterinary clinic.
